We are conducting an in-depth study of Eclipse with a concentration on the fundamentals of extending Eclipse. Eclipse itself is quite a large universe to navigate with many features, projects, mechanisms, articles, patterns, principles and practices. In addition, there are quite a few books that exist to assist in learning about Eclipse. Even with this documentation, gaining a mastery of the essential Eclipse concepts can be somewhat daunting.

This in depth study is conducted according to a study group format. This format is best described here. The facilitators of the Eclipse Users Group meetings are veterans of various design patterns study groups in the past including:
